Everything you needed or wanted to know about Barn Hunt. This full day workshop is great whether you are just getting started or already have experience.

The day will consist of mini workshops described below.

Schedule will be as follows:
10-11:30 am- Introduction to Barn Hunt- Meet the rat, Climb and tunnel foundations.
12-1pm Lunch and Learn- Sit down with our instructor/prospective judge to discuss the new 2019 rules and the common rules. Lunch included!
1:30-2:30 Successful Handling Tips- Time management in the ring, Hunting with a plan, How we influence our dog in the ring.
3-3:30 pm Building Indication- Whether you need to teach indication or build a better indication, this workshop will create a strong understanding of how your dog works the tube.
4-4:30 Fun with Tunnels- Tunnels can be one of the most frustrating elements of your dog's run. Learn how to address teaching a tunnel all the way through your dog tunneling while in high hunt drive.

This event will be held on a private farm. We recommend you bring canopies to set up for shade. There are some shade trees to use. Dogs will be expected to be crated during lecture times and during lunch and learn. Porta potty will be onsite.
